Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Not a bank or EMI

Finoment LLC is a software development, fintech research, and consulting company. We do not hold customer funds, issue stored-value accounts, or provide banking, payment-institution, money-transmission, or electronic-money services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of digital products and consulting services offered by Finoment LLC ("Finoment", "we", "us"), a Limited Liability Company (Wyoming, USA) with principal address 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, EIN 98-1916471. Card payment processing is provided by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates as our third-party payment processor.

1. Nature of service

Finoment is a software development, fintech research, and consulting company. We sell our own digital products and professional services directly. Finoment is not a bank, electronic money institution (EMI), payment institution, money-services business, lender, or regulated financial-services provider. We do not hold customer funds, do not offer stored-value accounts, do not provide wallets, and do not transmit money to third parties. All purchases are made via unique, time-limited payment links issued either by us or by one of our authorised sister sites or brands. Finoment is the seller of record for every transaction on this platform.

1a. Brands, partners and resellers

Some of our services are presented under our own brands (including BackHome at backhome.life) and are also offered through independent authorised partners and resellers. Where a partner introduces you to a service, the following applies:

  • The contract for the service you pay for through this platform, and the invoice issued for it, are with Finoment LLC. Finoment is the seller and merchant of record, and the charge appears on your card statement under a Finoment descriptor.
  • BackHome OÜ (Estonia) acts as an independent authorised partner and reseller of Finoment services and provides first-line customer support for the BackHome brand. It is not a payment provider, is not our agent for holding funds, and does not receive or hold your payment.
  • Partners and resellers may not vary these Terms, make commitments on our behalf, or collect payment on our behalf. Any additional service a partner sells you on its own account is governed by that partner's own terms and is its sole responsibility.
  • Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between you, Finoment LLC and any partner.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You may not use Finoment if you are located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (currently Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine), or if you appear on any U.S. government sanctions list.

3. Account, KYC and agreement

To complete a purchase you must (a) create an account with a valid email address, (b) complete identity verification via our KYC provider Didit, and (c) sign this Customer Agreement electronically. Verification and signature are one-time gates that unlock future purchases on the same account.

4. Payments and 3-D Secure

Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates as our payment processor; your card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. Every card transaction is submitted with 3-D Secure authentication where supported by the issuer. By initiating a payment you authorise Finoment LLC to charge your payment method for the exact amount displayed at checkout, in the currency displayed at checkout. The charge appears on your statement under a descriptor beginning with Finoment, followed by the brand of the service purchased.

5. Prices, taxes, invoices

Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. Where required, sales tax, VAT or GST is calculated based on the billing information you provide. Upon successful payment we issue a sequentially-numbered electronic invoice bearing Finoment LLC's legal name, address and EIN. Invoices are available in your account under "Orders".

6. Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks

Refund policy is described at /legal/refunds. Unauthorised chargebacks initiated after successful delivery of a digital product may be disputed and, if upheld against you, may result in suspension of your account and referral of the debt to collection.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Finoment to purchase or resell goods or services that violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, involve fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or that fall within our payment provider's prohibited-business list (including but not limited to: unregulated financial services, adult content, illegal substances, weapons, and gambling without a licence).

8. Data protection

We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Notice.

9. Warranties and liability

Digital products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event will Finoment LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration seated in Sheridan County, Wyoming, subject to your right to bring qualifying claims in small-claims court.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect for future purchases only. Continued use of Finoment after publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
