AML, KYC & Sanctions Statement
Finoment LLC (Limited Liability Company (Wyoming, USA), EIN 98-1916471) is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorism financing and sanctions evasion. This statement explains the controls we apply.
1. Who we are, what we do
We sell our own digital products directly to end-customers. We do not operate stored-value accounts, do not hold customer funds, and do not transmit money to third parties on behalf of customers. Card payments are processed by Airwallex US, Inc., a licensed money transmitter and card processor. Under U.S. federal rules a merchant selling its own goods and services is generally not a money-services business, and this platform is designed to stay within that scope.
2. Sanctions screening
We block signups and purchases from users located in, or resident of, jurisdictions subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions: Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine. In addition, our payment processor screens each transaction against U.S. OFAC and other applicable sanctions lists and will decline transactions that generate a positive match.
3. Customer identification (KYC)
Before your first payment we require you to complete identity verification via Didit, our third-party KYC provider. Verification captures: full legal name, date of birth, residential address, government-issued photo ID, and a live selfie for biometric match. Verification outcomes are retained in your account for the duration required by applicable law.
4. Customer agreement
You are also required to sign our Customer Agreement electronically. The signature is bound to your verified identity, your IP address, timestamp and a cryptographic hash of the exact contract version you signed, producing a tamper-evident audit trail.
5. Transaction monitoring
All payments are logged with amount, currency, 3-D Secure result and provider reference. We monitor for patterns that may indicate abuse (e.g. rapid repeat attempts, chargeback velocity, mismatch between KYC country and card country) and reserve the right to decline transactions, suspend accounts and, where required by law, report activity to competent authorities.
6. Record retention
KYC records, contract signatures and transaction records are retained for at least 7 years from the last transaction, consistent with U.S. tax and record-keeping obligations.
